HISTORY

The foundation of Breuell Ingenieurbüro GmbH is based on a longstanding Hanseatic tradition. Amongst the warehousemen of Hamburg’s Freeport, the Breuell family was known for its trading activities as early as 1888.

After the end of World War II, Mr Egon Breuell founded the sole proprietorship Egon Breuell Ingenieurbüro und technische Vertretungen, which primarily established itself in the electrotechnology and mechanical engineering sectors. 

On completing his course of study, Reinhard Breuell actively joined the company in 1976, followed by his brother Manfred Breuell in 1980. In 1981, the brothers founded BREUELL INGENIEURBÜRO TECHNISCHE VERTRETUNGEN GMBH.

Since its foundation, the company has developed various focuses. The agency business ‑ the source of the company’s success ‑ facilitated its subsequent specialisation on workplace health and safety, lighting technology, electrical and safety engineering and the switchgear technology. 

As early as the mid-1980s, we took over the Germany-wide sales of emergency eye wash and shower equipment for a prestigious manufacturer. Business development in this sector was also rapidly successful.

After a presence of more than twenty years on the German market, B-SAFETY is now one of the leading manufacturers of emergency eye wash and shower equipment. The company's headquarters, its production facilities and the large central store are located in Hamburg, which guarantees rapid and easy delivery.
